Chuck filets
So it the first time working with chuck filets and they are amazing better than any filet mignon. Paired it with a sweet corn buttermilk puree and grilled asparagus.
Cream puffs grrrrrrrr.....
So made cream puffs this week after several times of attempting it. I only can make them like a mediocre pastry chef lol. Something I will have to work on.
Epic and the inside of the mind of a micro brew lover
So I have problem with how many people I live around who don't appreciate micro beer. They prefer mass produced filtered beer that tastes like water mixed with dog slober. Its just sad to me but everyone has their own opinion.
Working in the food industry for 5 years now
So I have been working in crappy kitchens for 5 years now. Never really creating food the way I want to and have been dreaming since I was a kid. Occasionally I get to make stuff in the restaurants that fill that need to be creative but never fully quenches my thirst. Like this prime rib French onion soup I made at the steak house I work at.
Culinary adventures
So I wanted to make something I have never made today just had a craving. So I made coconut tika masala with paneer and naan Then later that day my mother informed me of a time when I was 13 and requested my mom to help me make a curry dish. And we had to run all over town to find garam masala. I am thankful for them letting me do all of that and to inspire me to explore food and cultures.
